Example Costs & Financing

However, as a general guide we have provided below a typical cost of an installation based on different power outputs being installed at an average household.

The average household uses 3,300 kwh of electricity per annum and has an annual electricity bill of £421 (per DECC.org).

The cost of a solar panel installation varies depending on roof space and roof type, access, power required and time taken to install. Therefore, we are unable to offer a price for your installation until we have performed a site assessment.

Scenario 1 Scenario 2 Scenario 3 Scenario 4
System wp 840wp 1,260wp 2,520wp 3,360wp
Cost installed (est) £5,100 £6,100 £10,100 £12,800
Income & Benefit over 25 years (est) £8,750 £12,900 £25,775 £34,375

NOTE- All costs and returns are based on estimated production and consumption levels. Actual installations will vary.

The above example figures DO NOT take into any future price increases in fuel bills. As your Solar Installation will provide you with your own electricity, you will be protected from the effect of any such increases for the units you consume. Therefore should the cost of electricity increase, the above 'benefit' received by having your own Solar installation would be higher.
