The cost of a solar panel installation varies depending on roof space and roof type, access, power required and time taken to install. Therefore, we are unable to offer a price for your installation until we have performed a site assessment.
| SYSTEM SIZE | FIXED INSTALL COST | ANNUAL RETURN | 25 YEAR RETURN (With 4% inflation pa) | |
| 8 panels | 2 Kwp | £6,000 | £541 | £22,530 |
| 12 panels | 3 Kwp | £7,000 | £811 | £33,775 |
| 16 panels | 4 Kwp | £8,500 | £1,082 | £45,061 |
NOTE- All costs and returns are based on estimated production and consumption levels.
Actual installations will vary.
The above figures are based on the following assumptions;
Feed In tariff rate of 21p per unit generated based on a typical North East installation.
Export tariff based on 3.1p for 25% of energy generated being exported
Savings on your existing fuel of 14.4p for 75% of energy generated
As your Solar Installation will provide you with your own electricity, you will reduce your consumption of electricity from your energy supplier. Their costs are increasing at levels far beyond just inflation. Therefore the 'benefit' of generating your own power will be greater as the general cost of energy continues to rise.
