Feed in Tariffs explained;-

solar forest picture

No,.. unfortunately this isn't our latest installation in Northumberland. But if you would like us to install a similar size we would be delighted to assist!!

Feed In Tariffs are very simple.
You ask Energyforest to install a Solar PV system on your home. You then receive 21p for every unit of electricity that the system generates. (This is regardless of whether you use the power or export the power)

How do you obtain the 21p's?When we install the system we install an extra ofgem approved energy meter that records how many units of electricity have been generated, we call this your generation meter.Every three months you give your main energy provider your 'generation meter' meter reading and within 28 days they send you a cheque/electronic bank transfer of all the 21p's. (Eg you submit a meter reading of 500 units they send you £105 (500 x 21p)). Note- just like your existing electric meter, from time to time your energy supplier will arrange to come out and read the generation meter.

What about exporting the power? In addition to the 21p's, all energy suppliers will also pay you an estimated amount for the energy you export back down the grid. They pay you a further 3.1p for every unit you export. In time, all UK household will receive a 'smart meter' in their home. The smart meters will be able to record exactly how much power you export. But until then, they base their calculations on an estimated figure using your generation meter readings.

So no matter your roof size or amount of spare land call us now for your solar tariff investment quote!
